Not promising anything - but of you were to design new colors for Flicker Shads next year what would they be?
I think blue/white w/ a little pink! There are only a couple options with blue(Blue scale shad & blue tiger). I dont use it a ton but Black could be a good one. Black Tiger. (White or Silver for the tiger part)
Ooopps just seen the Scheels Blue pearl!! Thats kinda what I was thinking but could use a little more shine. Maybe blue/chrome.
What about some Holographic colors?
A line of transparent schemes with holo foil inside like the Bare Nakeds. Maybe one clear scheme for us painters?
Definately a METALLIC series..
Smooth sided with metallic finish..
Keith - I'd buy up a bunch if they'd come up with a color similar to Rapala's "Clown Flash" color. Absolute killer here on the Saginaw River ! Bob
Clear side prism with holographic foils.
Silver and gold metallics

baits that imitated the color schemes of smelt, white bass, gizzard shad, little sheepshead and emerald shiners.I have found these walleye foods in Oahe and Sakakawea walleyes(not gizzard shad on Sakakawea). They all have white bellies with silvery sides and a darker back.
I second all of the above. I wish the colors were all more metallic and shinier. One that is shiny pink, I think, would be great on LOW!
im thinking emerald green back with a yellow belly with yellow herribone and a big #12 on the sides .. call it " rodgers flicker pass"
I agree with the unpainted flickershad body they have such a great action and really do catch some nice fish and the color schemes are all very nice its hard to want to paint over them, but I do anyway. I think when it comes to the next years new colors a good place to start would be the berkley prostaffs top producing colors that are not currently offered in the flickershads. I do like also the bare naked idea they are very effective in a lot of situations. who knows maybe some glow schemes in the mix.
Dude, ape the BPS lime-chart spinner blade.
I haven't seen any, I appologize if I'm wrong but is there a PERCH pattern? I would buy loads of them.
If I had to pick 3 must haves for my waters they would be flashy chrome and gold in the following colours. A picture is worth a thousand words...
I'm with Bill Korn.
I'd like to see a series of baits using silver, white, and black. Black backs with large scale pattern or vertical perch lines over silver sides fading into a bright white belly. Black backs over white would look nice with the black extending down the sides in a scale or perch pattern. I'd like to see more of a crappie scale look. Most firetiger stop the lines above the mid line of the bait. Most fish have their darker back colors going nearly 2/3 down the sides.
black tiger. black tiger strip on top with a dark orange sides and bottom. I paint my own and this color works great at night with no moon, also please make in size 4 for trolling skinny water at night. I can't wait to try all my new size 4's.
A bluegill color pattern would be REALLY nice...
Sheldon, those patterns are flippin sweet!
Here in the Province of Quebec and probably elsewere in Canada, a yellow perch pattern would be great.
A large parth of walleye diet here is yellow perch. Actually, I'm using my old Frenzy crankbait Perch color but I'm about to be out of stock !
Any time you can inlcude a picture (even of cranks of a different brand) of the colors you like is real helpful.
Sheldon - as usual you go above and beyond - I really like these!
I like the color pattern that Sheldon had with the gold sides and orange belly but put a dark green back on it. That would also cover the perch pattern that everyone has been asking for.....just my 2 cents...
I like the color ideas but since you have some influance, how long do you think it will be till they come out with JOINTED FLICKER SHADS???I think with the #9 coming out ,that this would be the next big move foward.Just my 2 cents
Any idea when the #9's will be out?? Thanks!
Jointed would be HOT! Bare naked series would be nice.

For #9's last I heard was early summer.
Slap some more glitter on some of them like the circus star, and add some to the pearl. Would be nice if the gold would stand out more on the perch too. Otherwise these are great cranks. Keep up the good work guys.
Cheryl, Bass Pro has the perch as their exclusive crank, so that is the only place to buy them from.
Didn't come up with a new flicker shad color, but just a different version of an old standby. It's the mouse of course, my favorite. Hope you all like it. Let me know your opinion. mouse
I like it Mouse LOL.! I bet them goofy musky guys would probobally buy em up to.
I like the clear idea, with imbedded colors, not applied colors. One thing that has (almost) convinced me I should paint my own is the transulcent bodies with "candy" color added.
Another idea that I would love to try is a a "clear" body with green or green-chartruese metallic flecks imbedded in the plastic body with the color on the inside on a translucent insert. Baitfish even from a boat look a little mirage-like in the middle of the day. Translucent offerings I think are a benny in the broad daylight.

I am shocked nobody has mentioned making the realistic photographic image lure patterns like Livetarget and Northland lures have been making! I think a Flickershad, Berkley, Storm, or Rapala line up could benefit!
